Reservation: Statutory

The following statutory reservations are available:

1. Scheduled Caste (SC) - 7%
2. Scheduled Tribes, Plains (STP) - 10%
3. Scheduled Tribes, Hills (STH) - 5%
4. Other Backward Classes (OBC / MOBC) - 27%
5. Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) - 10% of approved intake

Note: Caste Certificates must be issued by the competent authorities and countersigned by the Deputy Commissioner of the District concerned. Candidates seeking admission under reserved seats category must be permanent residents of Assam.
