Learning Investors' Club (LIC) is an an effort to initiate a change in the prevailing investment culture. It was formed in 2007 with the initiative of the MBA (FT) 2006 Batch with Dr. Ranjit Singh as its Faculty coordinator. It was started with an initiative on the part of the students of CMS to learn about Stock Market Investment. It has invested in the past in the stock market as a group and has made significant profits.
It is also spreading its wings and trying to take bigger steps in which it is involving the people of Dibrugarh town. It conducted four Investors' Summits between 2007 and 2010.
The current student coordinator is Karandeep Saikia of the BBA 2022 Batch.
