The Centre has a state-of-the-art language lab called the Language Simulation Unit (LaSU) with 25 computers and all required software. The machines have Intel® i3 processors with 4 GB of RAM and Windows 10 Professional installed. The Language software includes licenced versions of Active Reading, Author Plus Teacher, BusinesWriting, ClarityEnglish Success, Clear Pronunciation,Learner and TenseBuster.
The Unit doubles up as a Smart Classroom. It also has software to conduct online examinations. Monitoring is possible through a IP CCTV. Power Back-up is provided via a 10KVA Online UPS. Students can use the software availble in the Language Lab to hone their English language skills. All the machines are connected to the Internet for a seamless learning experience. The Unit is currently looked after by Mr. Jamal Hussain, PhD Research Scholar at the Centre.
