3% of the total seats are reserved for the Divyang (differently-abled) students. Candidates applying for consideration under this category must submit Medical Certificate issued by the Joint Director of Health Services of the district concerned and countersigned on verification by the Senior Medical Officer, Dibrugarh University. Those who on the pretext of being very negligibly differently-abled by visual deficiency and the like shall not be eligible for consideration under this reserved category. Candidates seeking admission under reserved seats category must be permanent residents of Assam.
