Frequently Asked Questions for the MBA (FT) Programme
- What is the cut-off marks in 10 + 2 for admission to the BBA Programme?
There is no cut-off score. You can apply if you have a minimum score of 50% (45% for SC/ST) in 10 + 2. The higher the score, the better it is.
- What if I score less than the minimum required percentage in my qualifying examination?
If on rounding up, the score becomes equal to the minimum required percentage. For e.g., You need 50% in your qualifying examination to be eligible, then if you have a percentage of 49.5% and above but less than 50%, it gets rounded to 50% and you can apply. But, if it is less than 49.5%, it gets rounded to 49% and you may not apply.
- What about Placement for BBA graduates?
The Centre does not give any Placement guarantee, but it offers Placement Assistance through its Training & Placement (T&P) Cell. Placement details from the 2017 Batch onwards can be viewed through the Facilities -> Placement -> Information tab in the website.
- What about Accommodation?
The Centre has quota in the University hostels, both for boys and girls. But since the seats are limited, accommodation is not guarateed. Otherwise, there are many private hostels, messes and paying guests facilities nearby the University for both boys and girls.
- Will I be informed about the dates for PI?
You will be mailed at your registered email address. Notifications will be given in the Centre's website also. You are also advised to follow our social media profiles for regular updates.
- My qualifying examination results are still not out. Can I apply?
Yes, you can apply. Your qualifying examination results with the requisite norms have to be submitted at the time of PI. The PI will be scheduled only after the 10 + 2 results of all the major baords are out.
- Do I need to bring any documents during PI?
Yes. You need to bring all your testimonials in original during the PI. These are required for verification. You will also bring a hard copy of the Online Application Form.
- What are Endowment Seats?
These are reserved seats where you have to make an additional one-time payment at the time of admission. These are also given on merit. You need to opt for it when you are asked for it during any stage of the admission process.
- I applied for endowment seats. But ultimately, I got admission via the merit list/waiting list. Do I need to still pay the endowment fees?
No, in that case, you need not pay the endowment fees as you did not take admission on Endowment quota.
