Training and Placement Cell

The Centre has a Training and Placement (T&P) Cell headed by a Placement Officer. who has regular liaison with various companies for successful placement of candidates through Campus Interviews. The Placement Officer is also responsible for arranging summer training for the students. The post is currently held by Mr. Ranjit Singh, Faculty Member, CMS. He is assisted in his work by Mr. Dhrubajyoti Bordoloi and Syed Sajid-ul-Islam, both faculty members of CMS. The T&P Cell is a member of North East Professional Institutes Forum (NEPIF)
This year, the 2007 Batch MBA (FT) students have already been offered Summer Internship at National Innovation Foundation (NIF - GIAN), Indian Oil Corporation (IOC - AOD), Oil India Limited (OIL), Jay Bee Energy, etc. The students start their summer training from June 1, 2008
The passed out 2006 Batch MBA (FT) students have found employment at organizations like Reliance Telecom, IDBI Bank, ICICI Lombard, ICICI Bank, Reliance Life, Nestle, etc. with direct assistance of the Training and Placement Cell. Average CTC being offered to the students is more than Rs. 260 thousand per annum.
