25 November, 2002: Centre for Management Studies comes into being with the formal notification about the constitution of the Board of Management of CMS
3 February, 2003: 2 – year Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme formally inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Dibrugarh University; India’s Easternmost B-School starts operations
3 February, 2004: CMS completes one year of operations; celebrated with formation of PARIVARTAN (Consultancy Cell), CMANSQUARE (Student’s Forum), PRAKRITI (Eco Club) and NEURONS (Quiz Club)
6 February, 2004: 3 - year Part Time MBA programme launched
16 August, 2004: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme inaugurated
16 August, 2006: Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management (PGDTM) programme inaugurated
